Refund policy

1. Change of Mind and Sizing

GSM does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:

• change of mind

• incorrect fit or sizing issues

• personal preference

• colour variation caused by lighting or screen settings

• minor condition characteristics disclosed in the listing or consistent with the age and nature of vintage or pre-owned goods

This includes situations where measurements are listed in the product details and the item is later considered unsuitable in fit or size.

2. Vintage and Pre-Owned Condition

Many GSM items are vintage, pre-owned, archive, or one-off pieces. By purchasing from GSM, you acknowledge that:

• reasonable signs of wear consistent with age and use are not faults

• minor imperfections may form part of the character of the item

• disclosed flaws shown in photographs or descriptions are not grounds for return

Customers are responsible for reviewing all product information before purchase.

3. When a Remedy May Be Available

A return, repair, replacement, partial refund, or full refund may be available where required under Australian Consumer Law, including where goods:

• are faulty

• are significantly not as described

• do not match their description

• are not of acceptable quality

• are not fit for a disclosed purpose

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Return Requests

If you believe an item is faulty, incorrect, or significantly not as described, please contact us at gallerystmiller@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with:

• your order number

• clear photographs

• a brief description of the issue

We may request further information before assessing the matter.

Items returned without prior written approval will not be accepted.

5. Condition of Approved Returns

If a return is approved, the item must be returned:

• in the condition received

• unworn other than initial try-on

• unwashed and unaltered

• with original tags or packaging where applicable

To the extent permitted by law, we may refuse a return where an item has been worn, washed, altered, further damaged, or returned contrary to our instructions.

6. Return Shipping

Where GSM has supplied the wrong item, or where a remedy is required under Australian Consumer Law, GSM will comply with its legal obligations regarding return shipping costs.

In all other cases, including any return accepted at GSM’s discretion, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

7. Remedy Method

Where GSM determines that a remedy is required by law, the available remedy may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue and whether the failure is major or minor.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
